February 2020
Microcvd was awarded a DOE SBIR Phase I to demonstrate direct-write printing of large detector array electronic interconnects.
May 2019
Microcvd successfully completed an MDA SBIR Phase I R&D project that demonstrated 3D electronics printing in our prototype research chamber. The process and prototype are capable of printing durable, heat-resistant metal patterns on ceramic and other substrates.
December 2018
Microcvd Corporation was awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I contract for developing a process for 3D printing of electronics. Funded by the Department of Defense (DOD)/Missile Defense Agency (MDA), this effort aims to develop advanced manufacturing technology to print circuits and electronics for missile systems applications.
The SBIR program is a highly competitive program that encourages small businesses to engage in development of technologies that have commercialization potential.
